Terms of use
Last changed October 29, 2026
These are short because the app is simple. Using Try My Trip means you agree to them.
Your plans are yours
You own what you write. We store it and show it to the people you share it with, and that's all we do with it. Make a plan public or share its link, and people can read it and copy it into plans of their own. You can make it private again at any time, but copies people already made are theirs.
What's not allowed
- Someone else's home address, phone number, or private details.
- Anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or meant to harass.
- Spam.
- Anything you don't have the right to share.
We remove what breaks these rules and close accounts that keep breaking them. If you see something, open its ··· menu to report it, or block the person.
Your account
You need to be 13 or older to have one. You're responsible for what's posted from it.
Places and maps
Place search, place details, and maps come from Google Maps, so using them means agreeing to the Google Maps Terms, and Google's Privacy Policy covers what Google does with that data. When Google can't answer, search uses OpenStreetMap. Places can be wrong or out of date, so check before you go.
What we can't promise
Try My Trip is made by a small team. It's provided as is, and it may change, pause, or shut down. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for anything lost because of it, including your data. Copy as text gives you a copy of any plan to keep.
Changes
When these terms change, the date here will update. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
